1. Commitment to Participant’s Development
- Prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of all participants.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
2. Coaches & Staff in Compliance with Safety Protocols
-Complete a comprehensive background check facilitated by Players Health to ensure the safety of all participants.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines set forth by p1440, including those related to participant well-being during practices, events, programming, and competitions.
- Follow facility rules and regulations, such as restrictions on outside food and beverages when applicable.
- Familiar with and comply with all p1440 policies, including anti-discrimination and harassment policies.
- Uphold the values of inclusivity and diversity, ensuring that all participants feel welcomed and valued.
3. Incident Reporting and Response
- Promptly report any incidents of injury, misconduct, or concerns related to participant safety according to the reporting procedures by p1440.
4. Professionalism and Respect
- Promote respectful behavior among participants, players, coaches, parents, and p1440 staff.
- Conduct yourself with integrity in all environments, serving as a positive role model for participants and the community.
5. Communication
- Maintain open and transparent communication with participants, parents, and staff.
8. Commitment to Fair Play
- Promote fair play and uphold the rules of the game or activity. Guide participants to engage with respect for opponents, peers, officials, and working teams, which are youth players acting as officials.
